Revitalising the city in partnership with Jozi My Jozi
Revitalising the city in partnership with Jozi My Jozi We believe that collaboration between business, government, and civil society is essential to unlock large-scale transformation. We are proud to be supporting Jozi My Jozi, an ambitious initiative focused on revitalising the Johannesburg CBD. This partnership brings together some of South Africa’s most respected organisations to tackle systemic challenges in the city. Through Jozi My Jozi, Tshikululu is contributing to projects that address affordable housing, drive economic empowerment and invest in community upliftment
Furthering South Africa’s Just Energy Transition
South Africa's Just Energy Transition (JET) is a Presidency-led, multi-stakeholder initiative to shift the country’s energy system to cleaner, renewable energy sources. This transition is designed to be inclusive, equitable, and socially responsible. Our technical support to the JET Funding Platform helped to bridge the gap between donors and projects – advancing the cause of a sustainable and socially just energy transition.
Strengthening independent publishers through the Digital News Transformation Fund
The Digital News Transformation (DNT) Fund, established by Google, in partnership with the Association of Independent Publishers (AIP), is a groundbreaking collaborative initiative and the first fund of its kind in South Africa. As the fund administrator, Tshikululu is helping to strengthen quality journalism, media freedom and a democratic society.
Cross-sector collaboration for better learning outcomes: Optima and Float
Our client, Optima, is one of nine core donors for Float, a multi-stakeholder effort to improve literacy and numeracy for Grade R-3 in South Africa. Float works in collaboration with government to support evidence-based interventions that can work at scale, leveraging the power of partnerships to achieve the vision of all South African children being literate and numerate by age 10.
Tackling inequality on a global scale through the TISFD Alliance
We are proud to participate in the Taskforce on Inequality-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD) Alliance. The Alliance is a global, multi-sector network of organisations dedicated to tackling inequality and shaping solutions that drive meaningful change. The TISFD Alliance is developing a set of guidelines to guide companies on how they report on social impact-related financial disclosures. Being part of this alliance strengthens our position as a thought leader in social impact and brings an African perspective to critical global conversations.
Creating platforms for collaboration with the Minerals Council South Africa
In 2025, we continued our partnership with the Minerals Council South Africa to strengthen the positive impact of the mining and extractives industry. Together, we have hosted a series of dialogues bringing together sector stakeholders to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing. These dialogues have evolved beyond discussion as we move towards exploring practical models to coordinate resources and achieve collective impact.
