		<description>Hello

South Africa can learn and should learn from what is happening in EU and US were resistance against the massive industrial wind farms is growing very vast.

The implementation of gigantic turbines over vast area of mostly pristine countryside or even nature reserves and parks is proven far from being green.

The national strategic assessment on birds is not ready yet and the wind developments are pushing already to be the first in line for the bidding process and many EIA are running full speed ahead.

The different techniques of mitigating the impacts on birds sounds promising, yet worldwide thousands of birds are being killed per site each year. Two species of eagles are been pushed into extinction at the moment by wrongly sited wind farms.

If we are not carefull, the future for our National Bird the Blue Crane looks very bleak.

Please, SA, educate yourself, there are so many studies been done and to be found on the internet about the negative impact of industrial wind farms.
