Jolene Shaw is an Associate Consultant at Tshikululu. She works on a diverse range of projects in sectors such as mining, international donor organisations, renewable energy and community development trusts. She undertakes various roles, from strategic advice to project management, within the projects that the unit handles and is committed to using her skills to create greater social impact.
She also assists in the management of knowledge within the unit, contributing to the development, standardisation, and implementation of internal operational frameworks.
Prior to her work at Tshikululu, Jolene’s past projects included organising and implementing the Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) Rural Schools Career Exhibition national initiative 2011, working with the Department of Water Affairs in developing and editing FET material for their Water is Life series 2011 - 2012, and managing the logistics and program for the Aqua Enduro Youth Summit for Department of Water Affairs in 2010.
Jolene holds an Honours degree in Development Studies, from the University of Johannesburg, and has a keen interest in working on programs which will assist in the alleviation of poverty in the developing world, particularly Africa.
