    Hi Lucas

Anglo American’s Deirdré Lingenfelder, Head of Safety & SustainableE Development Integration responds:

Anglo American and De Beers will continue to operate as independent businesses until such time as all regulatory approvals necessary to complete the acquisition of the Oppenheimer family’s stake in De Beers have been obtained, and the transaction has closed. Effectively, the parties may not prematurely combine their day to day operations and manage themselves as one prior to obtaining competition approvals, and it is therefore premature to speculate on the future of any of the De Beers departments.
