Social Development Sector

Tshikululu’s social development team manages projects in the following sectors:

• Welfare support;
• Policy and advocacy;
• Sustainable livelihoods;
• Community development, including youth development;
• Skills development and training;
• Culture and heritage; and
• Environment.

In so doing, the team is exposed to a range of social needs across the breadth and depth of our country, recognising and supporting community champions in situ and assisting them to bring about real change in the lives of their beneficiaries.

The social development practitioners continues to strengthen their expertise around funding the disability sector, while developing networks with regional relief organisations that can quickly respond to humanitarian disasters.
