The ApexHi Charitable Trust is committed to supporting development initiatives that are directed towards the alleviation of poverty and the development of communities in South Africa. The Trust’s major area of interest is education.

Funding guidelines

The targeted activities for Education are:

  • Maths, science and language and/or numeracy and literacy development; and
  • Early Childhood Development.

In addition to education, a portion of the Trust’s total budget is earmarked for discretionary grants. Discretionary grants are awarded for organisations working in the Welfare sector, focusing specifically on:

  • Abused and neglected children;
  • Gender-based violence;
  • People with disabilities;
  •  Orphans and Vulnerable Children;
  • Substance abuse; and
  • Youth development.

Application deadlines
Reporting forms for 2012 are now available for download – please do not use forms from 2011 or earlier.

Applications to the ApexHi Charitable Trust are currently closed. It is anticipated that new deadlines will be released in June 2012, please check this page again then.

All grants must be reported on in the format required by the reporting form below. Please check your grant letter for the deadline of your report.
